James Horner's score for Mel Gibson's "Braveheart" (1995) is, in my opinion, one of the best and most beautiful scores of the decade. For once, I won't write too much about this soundtrack because I think the music speaks for itself.
I do however, feel the need to write about this channel, and say my goodbyes. This is the last video I'll be uploading to Jorah the Andal. I've been uploading casually for the last couple of years, and I've decided to leave this channel in the hands of a team that I believe will breathe new air into this project.
Jorah the Andal was born out of my fascination and love for film scores. When I uploaded my first video in 2014, I was still a kid. Throughout the years, this has been such an important creative outlet for me, eventually setting me on the path I am today in the world of film and TV.
But also, seeing this community take form in front of my eyes has been extremely encouraging to me. It's no suprise that there are thousands of people who appreciate the art of film scoring, but this channel has always been a place for eclectic, unusual and wildly different genres, composers, films and listeners. I'm extremely proud of what Jorah the Andal has turned into, and I'm very happy to get to see it grow beyond myself.
Today I say goodbye to each and every one of you with a suite that I think perfectly encapsulates what this channel has always been: a tribute to great artistry, great filmmaking, and great music.
