The Kyoshi Warriors are an all-female order of warriors who protect Kyoshi Island in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Writer Brandon Hoàng dives into a trilogy of comics from Dark Horse Comics, simply titled The Kyoshi Warriors. In an interview for The Nerds of Color, he talks about the process of crafting the story throughout the comics, his previous experience of being an executive on The Legend of Korra, the difference between a soldier and a warrior, and his favorite characters and episodes from both respective shows.
