In this video we take a ride on Brampton Transit’s route 4 Chinguacousy which runs Northwest & Southeast Between Mount Pleasant Go Station & Brampton Gateway Terminal while making a brief stop at Sheridan College Davis Campus. This route runs 7 days a week 365 days a year and utilizes standard 40 foot buses.
1275 is a 2012 New Flyer Xcelsior Diesel Electric 60 foot low floor bus (XDE60) and is part of a 19 unit order (1275-1294). This bus is part of the oldest fleet of XDE60’s Brampton Transit currently operates. These units are powered by a Cummins 8.9L EPA10 330HP Clean Diesel Turbocharged Engine (ISL9) paired with an Allison Parallel Hybrid EP50 transmission. These buses ride on MAN axles, and are equipped with operator controlled Climate Control for passengers, and American Seating InSight seating.
