Surprise I guess, a rare extreme demon completion from me. I still don’t plan on playing many extremes, but I had to do something to celebrate Maymory.
This level has a lot of potential to be a 10/10, most of it is really good, but there were just a few things that really grinded my gears. First of all the UFO at 30%, I could not get this UFO fully consistent to save the life of me, it was so random whether I’d pass it no problem or get stuck there for several minutes. The fact that it’s dependent on your previous inputs is just not fun.
My other big issue is the blind transition at 57%, you have to hit 5 orbs right after a black screen, and they aren’t easy clicks either, this one was quite a mindblock for me at times.
Those two chokepoints really brought down my experience, but outside of those, there’s really not many other flaws. This level definitely shows a ton of potential since most of the parts get pretty damn consistent. I hope to see more from this creator because this is really close to being super fucking good. Also I gotta mention how badass the transition at 73% is.
Even though my experience wasn’t the best, I shouldn’t bitch about it too much because I’ve had much worse times in the past. I also beat this in only 2 days surprisingly with a pretty low attempt count for my standards, this is definitely the fastest I’ve ever beaten an extreme. There’s a chance this gets demoted to insane demon but I wouldn’t mind that.
If you like memory levels, I would recommend playing this if you can deal with some annoyances. I know this description probably seems way too in-depth, but I was bored, so I wanted to type all my thoughts out on my first extreme in a minute.
