Brahms' Lullaby: This is a wonderful lullaby with guitar to comfort your baby or sing to your child before bedtime. The German version "Guten Abend, gut' Nacht" was my favourite lullaby when I was a child. My dad always sang it for me.

🌜Lullabies at home: Bedtime lullabies and nursery rhymes to comfort your baby or to calm down your child for a good night's sleep or for a daytime nap. Lullabies are not just for babies but for toddlers and older children, too. I still sing a lullaby every night to my tween daughter when I put her to bed. It is also great for bonding with your child. Sing the lullaby while bathing or getting baby ready for bed, while walking with your baby on your arms or sitting on the bed with your baby cradled in your arms. Sing a lullaby even when you nurse your baby to sleep. Your baby gets used to this routine and it will be easier to put your child to bed once you stop nursing. For toddlers and older children, sing the lullaby when putting them to bed and tucking them in.
🌜Lullabies in music class: Sit on the floor with your child cradled in your arms. Lay child on a large towel or blanket. The teacher holds one end while the parent holds the other end and gently sways the child back and forth while singing a lullaby. After several repetitions of a lullaby, end by humming the tune one more time. Not only is this very calming, but it will assist the child in developing a sensitivity for melody without words.
