A guided tour through this lively painting reveals the nuts and bolts of Pieter Brueghel the Younger's world. Galerie De Jonckheere, specialised in the study and sale of 15th to 17th century Flemish paintings, takes you along the literal and metaphorical reading of the old master's panel. On the occasion of BRAFA in the Galleries, the Paris based gallery installs their exhibition, which includes this work, in the intimate setting of a private space in Brussels, on Rue Américaine 26-28.
BRAFA in the Galleries (27 - 31 January 2021) is a creative alternative to the BRAFA Art Fair at Tour & Taxis, Brussels, which has been postponed to January 2022. 129 art dealers spread across 14 countries and 38 cities, present online and in their galleries, objects and artworks selected for BRAFA 2021 in the best possible conditions.
