Shortly after his death, Brad Delp's 1976 Taylor Custom Model 885 12-String Serial #20173 went missing from his daughter's house.
Micki Delp wrote the following on Facebook asking for help:
"Please, please help me and our children. The guitar which Brad is playing in the video "More Than A Feeling" is missing. It was taken from my daughter's house in L.A shortly after his death It was his favorite guitar. John Boylan had it made for Brad. Only one was made that year and it's Brad's.
W have been searching for it for all of these years and it has been posted on FB over the years so we didn't just start looking for it yesterday. This is another re-post of it😞 Hoping it isn't forgotten and somehow finds it's way home.🙏
It's a 12 string, 1976 Taylor custom model 885 and the serial number is # 20173. It's one of the few things my children received after his death. It has great sentimental value to my children as you can imagine. We just want it back. No questions asked. Please share this post wherever you can and I thank you in advance for your help❤"
