A two train photo charter at the Great Central Railway in January 2011. British Railways 2-8-0 Class 2884 number 3850 on a long rake of mineral ('Windcutter') wagons and 2-6-2T Class 4575 number 5526 with a GWR autocoach are seen passing each other at various locations between Loughborough and Rothley. Unfortunately, apart from a couple of sunny spells early on the weather was rather grey and dismal. Both locomotives are seen in unlined early British Railways black livery and were visiting the railway at the time.
3850 was withdrawn from service at the West Somerset Railway in 2015. It is now under a protracted restoration at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
5526 is currently on loan to the Battlefield Line.
