Photo acts 1, we just begun!
A big throw back to one of my favorite soundtracks in the series, while attempting to do something new. I say new but this sounds more like something straight from the 80’s
(I wasn’t even alive and yet I act like I was there).
Hardest part was balancing using the guitar and other instruments in a different stylethat what is usual to Touhou works, but I think I succeeded.

This is stage 3 theme! This piece is rather beautiful and was made with
more of a childish wonder vibe to it. I also tried to incorporate more
jazzy elements but I feel it ended up becoming more soft rock with
a choir lol!

This is the stage 4 theme! If the name didnt spell it out, its suppose to
recreate the same vibes as being in a weird, strange place similar to
another song composed by ZUN. Something something
flying ghoast or something??? I dont remember. Anyway! I wanted to
make this track a bit humorous while still keeping the overal style I
already established. I think I went a bit too humorous with it though lol!
Also the first three initials are a reference to another song that inspired
this track, but I will never tell you which song it is :3

This is Aspens theme! A rather gloomy and intense song for someone
capable of mauling you to a bloody puddle 0_0
I wanted to also attempt to make something more modern-esque
with the very minimal instrumentation and electronic drums, but as
always, I still love to create my songs wide and filling (maybe its why
I need to hit the gym more often...).

This is the final boss theme. I immediately had an idea of how to do this theme once I saw her design. I wanted something flashy (no pun intended) and cold, synthetic. This was one of few songs I decided to try lean towards a more…
“accurate” style (if using my own custom made synths count).
And the final section is a fun one; I reused melodies from almost every song previously!

A song made for anyone feeling down or trapped in a spiral. The spiral isnt something you get lost in, but rather find a way through it, or with it. Hence the cover art depicting three spirals connected to each other. I reversed the idea of a downward spiral into something brightly colored, with more than just two.
What we can do in trying times is stay connected to each other, and brave the spirals together.

Music Comment:
This is stage 5 theme. A very melancholic song meant to represent how
bad the situation really is. This home, although perfect, is less of a
paradise, and more of a self-inflicted cage. The theme reflects that with
the sadder tone and instrumentation mixing orchestra/ambiences.
With a glimmer of hope every now and then, this song was very
hard for me emotionally to create.
This also was original the stage 5 theme for EGoA, but was scrapped due to conflict with tonality and theming.
