Must admit, I cried when I listened to all the Eurovision songs of 2022 and stumbled upon this one. This song skyrocketed to my top five when it captured my heart and spoke of one of my largest struggles, to never fit in as a guy, for a guy had to be tough and show no emotion. This last year I've learnt to finally be myself and no longer hide the emotions that rampaged due to my hypersensitivity and autism. I can finally be myself, free from the social expectations and standards of what is expected from a guy. Gender shouldn't ever decide who you should be. Only you can decide.
Not only did this song capture my heart, my dear friend shares my love for this song. He and I decided to cover this together, to close the chapter of 2022 in a special way. As well, we covered Sailboat by Ben Rector and Cody Fry on his channel, feel free to check it out!
