You'll need a battery for the MPP. My preferred is a lithium iron phosphate pack from Renogy or Battleborn, but you can also run lead-acid batteries. In this case, bigger is better. A larger battery means longer run time.
If you're buying a UPS from APC or Cyberpower, larger VA doesn't mean larger battery. Get a heavy UPS. The larger the battery, the heavier the UPS.
