Overall much more precise than the test run. Major improvements were from the ghost cancel to avoid waiting to hit myself up to the ramp and the lap skip on the final lap. The lapskip requires a very specific path to be taken to ensure that the lap counts. It works on both the left and right sides. I think its faster on the left side in this case but will check the right side too.")

Yesterday I discovered something very unusual about our friend Bowser. He is able to maintain top speed (60 - 70 kph) during an AB shroom spin state. Every other characters speed drops to about 40 kph in a few seconds. I decided to see how well this state would work on a course with a lot of sharp turns. Not so bad, as it turns out. The world record here is 3593, so this is much slower but some sections can actually be faster, like the spiral part. If there were a way to quickly get into and out of this state, it could be used for parts like the spiral...")

It was known that we should jump off a shell by canceling its hit with a shroom. We also recently discovered that you can jump off a chomp by spinning out on the same frame that it hits you. We now know that its possible to jump off a shell by canceling the hit with a spin-out. The last piece of the puzzle to unlock three new shortcuts in time trials (KD, TT and RRd) would be to shroom cancel a chomp hit (a chomp hit is the same state as a train car hit and a car hit).")

A rare case of using bananas to go faster, I tried many different banana drop locations to arrive at the best spacing for the double lap skips. Surprisingly, throwing bananas actually made Bowser speed up slightly (I think I forced him to use an extra mushroom) and it also cleared the way for DK for the double (I originally thought I may need Wario but DK ended up working out just barely).")

Well, Moo Moo Farm now has a shortcut! This is only possible in GP mode, I used two player to make a proof of concept but it should be possible to do using a CPU player if you can get them in the right position. Its not clear for certain whether this would be faster for three lap as it requires the Lakitu effect (which takes about 5 seconds ).")
