Jason Baldwin is a master woodturner with over 20 years of experience at the lathe and eight years of close collaboration with renowned turner Stuart Batty. Known for his deep technical knowledge and calm, generous teaching style, Jason is an indispensable part of SB Tools. He plays a vital role in teaching and supporting classes, mentoring turners of all levels, and contributing directly to tool design and manufacturing.
In addition to his work in woodturning, Jason has enjoyed a distinguished career in music and the performing arts, bringing the same discipline and creativity to every craft he pursues. When he’s not in the shop, he enjoys spending time with his family and at the lake. Jason is also a highly skilled pen turner, known for his awesome segmenting, finishing skills and attention to detail.
