The centerpiece of the Bowen Aquarium will be an outdoor bull shark habitat stretching more than 100 feet long and holding over 168,000 gallons of water — nearly 10 times the size of the zoo's current aquarium exhibit. A second shark habitat, called "Shark Flats," will run nearly 100 feet long and hold 126,000 gallons of water.
