Boulies are a brand we’ve featured on the channel quite regularly in recent years - but it’s only been their chairs that we’ve looked at….until now! Today we’re taking a look at the Magvida dual motor electronic sit stand desk. It features what Boulies call the EMO system (Expandable Magnetic Organisation) which allows addons and attachments to be stuck to the underside of the desktop…Can a chair company make a decent desk?
Before going to press, the prices of this desk fluctuated a lot. Boulies had it listed on their own site for £299, then it moved from £320 to £340, but Amazon still have it listed at time of publication for £299. So its difficult for us to keep on top of all this. best checking both sites.

Pros
● EMO magnetic mounting system is clever and convenient
● Legs and frame feel solid
● Cable management tray works well
Cons
● Too much wobble when at full height
● Instruction manual needs a proof read and polish
● Magnetic silicone cable straps do not have strong enough magnets for any substantial amount of cables
● Expensive when at full RRP when considering the MDF desktop
