Picked up this FMS FJ Cruiser in 1/18… thinking it was an FCX18 🤦‍♂️ so instead of sending it back, I decided to build it into something a bit different.

In this video I go through the full build – fitting Batrazzi wheels, Injora tyres, swapping in the ESC and receiver from an FCX24 K5 Blazer, plus adding a few 3D printed accessories (including a driver) to bring it to life. Finished it off with some subtle panel lining to give it a bit more depth and realism.

Not the plan… but honestly, I’m glad it turned out this way.
