Two men from London, UK, carried 50 litres of water from Brighton to the capital to hand out for free during the hosepipe ban.
Creative partners George Lazarides, 30, and Joe Pattern, 27, filled 25 bottles with what they dubbed “legal hosepipe water” before travelling 51 miles to distribute it to gardeners in London.
The stunt highlighted restrictions affecting around 10 million people in the capital, with the pair saying they wanted to draw attention to drought conditions and water shortages.
