Today I'm taking botanical printing in a slightly different direction! I'm working with my new Indian Paintbrush foam stamps from @PMartistStudio, along with the adorable- and slightly cranky- Cranky Bee. These botanical stamps are based on existing flowers, which makes them a wonderful way to bring the shapes and character of real botanicals into my artwork without actually having to press a flower onto the page. I love using real flowers, leaves, and other botanicals as printing tools, but botanical inspired stamps give me something different: repeatability, flexibility, and the ability to create those beautiful natural shapes whenever I want. For this project I'm making small cards using papers that I created with sprays in a previous video. It's always fun to pull papers from the stash and give them new life with stamping, layering and a few unexpected details. And of course the Cranky Bee makes an appearance, because apparently even my flowers need a little attitude. Grab your stamps, pull out some of those papers you've been saving, and lets play with botanicals, color, stamping, and a little bit of bee mischief.
