Boss fights. In Halo. A very interesting concept that has been brought to life only a few times throughout the franchise's history. The thing about boss fights is that they are way more effective in some genres than others. In a game like dark souls or god of war, boss fights are undoubtably the best part of the game. Except that maybe dark souls pvp is better. But anyways, halo has always been at its best as a chess match. Between the weapon sandbox and the enemy sandbox. Boss fights can work but they aren't the best part of any game that they're in. Its possible that they could be but the focus should be on nailing the core gameplay of halo.
The atriox boss fight at the end did start to seem unrealistic because you can't get that in depth as you can in a melee focused game. But still if we have a thruster or a way to dodge attacks it could work. The focus has to be on penetrating the defense by aiming. I think that would be way better than just shooting a hitbox and slowly killing it. Like a few boss fights in halo infinite. Of course damage types too. I think some of the ideas could stray for what the core focus of halo should be but it would be amazing nontheless. We just need a god dang developer that can go over the top and not just barely the bare minimum. Please microsoft. With how big your company is you should be producing the most top of the line video games out there. Please. Halo 7 please. Don't release it if it isn't a benchmark in gaming.
