The sixty-fourth episode of Boss Analysis.
As I previously stated in episode 62, Castlevania Portrait of Ruin did a wonderful job of introducing the idea of challenge runs to me, with its multiple characters and level restriction options. However, have you ever tried to beat the game playing as the fifth secret and true ultimate challenge of the game?
The Toad Morph spell transforms Jonathan or Charlotte into a tiny toad, which is usually only meant to be used to get through otherwise inaccessaiblely-small spaces. This form is slow, and lacks any abilities beyond a regular jump and a very weak, slow and short-range tongue attack.
As the curious sort, I thought I'd try and see if it's even possible to beat every boss in the game when in this underpowered form...
