**Boruto has spent years carrying the hatred of the Hidden Leaf because he believed revealing the truth behind Omnipotence would cause something even worse than becoming the village's enemy. During a secret conversation with Sumire, Amado admitted he always knew Boruto and Kawaki had switched places in everyone's memories. More importantly, Sai secretly monitored that conversation and the report was documented as official intelligence.
That forgotten report could become one of the most important pieces of evidence in the entire series.
With Kobu closing in on Shikamaru and pushing for his removal as Hokage, every classified report connected to Boruto is likely to come under review.
