**Kawaki's fate might have finally been revealed, and the terrifying part is that Kashin Koji may have known the truth long before Boruto ever realized what was happening.
The newest Boruto Two Blue Vortex revelation from Amado completely changes the way Kashin Koji's Ten Directions should be viewed. Despite Amado's plans to use Kawaki to eventually resurrect Akebi, there seemingly isn't a future where Kawaki survives long enough to make that happen. No matter how powerful Kawaki becomes, the result remains the same.
Kawaki dies in every single timeline. Nothing Kashin Koji has shown avoids this future. Pour out a little ramen juice for Kawaki!
This revelation also makes an overlooked conversation from Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 13 far more important. Kashin Koji previously explained several possible futures to Boruto, and Kawaki repeatedly suffered horrifying deaths. Isshiki could resurrect using Kawaki's body. Code could capture Kawaki and sacrifice him to the Ten Tails. Other possibilities still ended with Kawaki being consumed.
Yet when Boruto specifically told Koji that he would never accept a future requiring Kawaki to die, Koji remained silent.
That silence suddenly carries much more weight.
Kashin Koji knows Boruto is humanity's greatest chance of defeating Jura. Telling Boruto that Kawaki appears destined to die could cause Boruto to abandon the safest path forward and attempt to save his brother instead.
But that could be exactly where Boruto finally follows Naruto's greatest example.
Naruto and Sasuke inherited a cycle that seemingly destined them to fight until one killed the other. Naruto rejected that fate and created another outcome.
Boruto may now face his own impossible destiny.
If every future Kashin Koji can see ends with Kawaki dying, Boruto may have to create the one future Ten Directions never showed him.
Can Boruto save Kawaki and finally give his brother a second chance at life?
