The **National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC)**, in collaboration with **Genimont Systems**, has trained **50 technicians and youths in Borno State** on converting petrol-powered vehicles from Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

The training, held at the **Borno State Vocational Enterprises Institute**, is part of efforts to build the technical capacity of Nigerian youths and automotive technicians while expanding skills in CNG vehicle conversion.

The programme also highlights the growing need for specialised automotive skills as Nigeria promotes the adoption of alternative fuels.

**Fatima Isa reports.**
