This is an experiential documentary about one woman's struggle with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). It features experts such as Marsha Linehan, who created DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and John Gunderson (who actually wrote the BPD diagnostic criteria), but is *by no means* a talking head documentary. It tries to get across what living with BPD might feel like for one person, rather than explain it from an external viewpoint.
This film is the reason the channel @BorderlinerNotes exists. After the film was done, we used the interview footage shot for the film to create an archive of informational videos on BPD and personality disorders in general, and now the channel has grown to include more experts and types of videos, including full-length therapy sessions.

The first time she tried to kill herself she was five years old. Now she is 45 and hell-bent on trying to live – most of the time.
She reacts on impulse, attacks, distracts, meditates, offers social commentary, trips over herself, laughs, judges, burns bridges, makes social gaffes, apologizes, loses her cool, philosophizes and remains dogged in her search for recovery.
