In this Borderlands 3 Weapon Preview, I cover a gun that is a tribute to a Borderlands fan who was diagnosed with terminal cancer named Trevor Eastman. Gearbox let him get early access to the game when he reached out to them because he didn't know if he would make it to the launch. Thankfully he did. So they made this gun and let him help design it.
The Trevanator is a really cool Maliwan SMG that reminds me of a favorite, the Hyperion Shotgun the Slowhand in the way it shoots 3 orbs. I think there is a lot of synergy to be had with this gun and I can't wait to test it further.
