Another one bites the dust! This time, it was Terramorphous the Invincible who fell. The fight went really smooth, so I was able to take him out fairly easily. There was also quite a bit of random good luck like the tentacles staying out long enough so that I could get second winds. I'm very happy with how it all turned out.
When I first tried fighting Terry, I got absolutely demolished. I knew that he was resistant to slag, but I couldn't figure out a way to keep him coated in it. That's when I realized that the one build I never use might be able to do just that. By specing into both Guerrilla and Survival (and the rest in Gunpowder), I was able to get both Double Up AND Gemini for really pumping out that slag, and doing so made this fight actually doable. This type of build was given the nickname of "BeeFour" by its users on the Borderlands 2 forums. I normally don't go this route for my Commando build, but I must admit that it did great for this battle!
For gear, I just used the Soldier Com with Fire and Shock Conference Calls (which were matched with Bone of the Ancients relics). The 0.0 fuse time on my Slag Transfusion Grenades also was instrumental in keeping my health up. A big part of this fight was the sheer randomness of the A.I., so I'm very glad I recorded it when I did!

Heck yeah! I made it through OP8 Digistruct Peak with L72 gear!
I originally thought I could do it without using the turret (since it scales to the set level, it would have been L80), but after getting slapped around 5 or 6 times, I decided to use it for the challenge. I REALLY wanted it to be L72 gear used entirely, but Im still pretty happy. Doing the challenge without any turret assistance would have been even better, but I doubt anyone would want to watch a video thats 5 hours long!
I got inspired to do this from StrikerZidanes L72 gear D.P. video. I didnt want him to have all the fun!
