The next area that stands in our way is Decimation Destination. This area’s eventual spawn is Doc Mercy, and depending on the spawn you get, you can either fight 2 at once or 3 over the course of 3 different waves (1 Mercy at a time each wave).
I show what NOT to do in this video, and I do not recommend setting up shop in this particular alcove. It’s far too easy to kill yourself that way. If you still want to use this area, then at least make certain you come all the way out of the spot whenever you want to attack.
Remember, Axton doesn’t have to be in close proximity to his enemies in order to do damage. Long-range weapons like the Pimpernel, Conference Call and especially Longbow grenades will let you dish out a lot of damage, but they also help keep you at a distance (which means that enemy bullets won’t be as accurate as they would be at close range).
In case you’re wondering, yes, those are car noises you hear at various times during the video (I live right next to a busy highway). I’ve noticed that my voice sounds the best when I don’t use any type of noise cancellation in my Audacity program. That’s why you hear those noises, and until I find the right settings, I’m just going to leave it where it’s at now.
