Q: why does it stay silent for so long at the end
A: The final image (a black square) runs past the length of the music, which already has a bit of silence at the end I was too lazy to remove. Windows live movie maker has a VERY confusing and unintuitive UI that makes it difficult to discern what you can do without screwing up something else. https://i.imgur.com/fAXSig0.png
Changing the duration of either image resets the transition to its default length, and changing the transition's length changes the duration of the latter image to something unwanted and seemingly random, often cutting off the end of the audio. Getting images and transitions where I want them is impossible, if not extremely difficult. I hate this program.
Also, I don't think I'm going to do these anymore. It's too much stress and life keeps getting busier. I guess you can think of this video as some sort of sendoff?
