This is genuinely one of the best design levels I have ever played. This is by far Sley’s best level. I’m just speechless.

I don’t like uploading progress instead of the completion, but I haven’t uploaded anything in a while so why not. This level is pretty fun but all the hardest parts are at the end :( (Mobile) The Ultimate Phase 70% [Extreme Demon] by Andromeda & More | Geometry Dash](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Cek_hEUMOqI/mqdefault.jpg)

DISCLAIMER: 96% (2:46) is NOT noclip, it is a skip. There are no hitboxes above that spike, you can try it yourself.

Man, I dont even know what to say. I started playing this level over 10 months ago, but eventually gave up because I thought it was simply too hard for me. However, after completing RUST, I wanted to see if I had gotten any better at the level, and for the first time, I thought it was within reach. The grind truly started on March 1st, and Ive been playing this level ever since. I honestly expected this level to take me a lot more time, but I luckily fluked it from 74%. This is simply a dream come true, Ive always seen this level as something I could never realistically do, so this just feels unreal.
As for the level itself, I absolutely loved it, surprisingly enough. Ship is by far my worst gamemode, so it took me a very long time to get good enough at Namtar or the first 20%, but like everything else in this level, it eventually clicked. This is one of the most consistent levels I have ever played, especially the extension, which makes it really satisfying to play. The balancing is also fantastic, much better than the one in Bloodbath, so this level feels very fair, which I love. In terms of difficulty, this is undoubtedly harder than RUST on my device and with my skillset, making it my new hardest demon. I would highly recommend this level! Lastly, make sure to check out Surpl3x and DashY, they both got insane runs on this level and inspired me to go for this.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Attempts: 25,374 (including 10,561 old attempts)
Easiest parts: Pan, Nikrodox, TMN
Hardest parts: Evasium, Namtar, Etzer
Difficulty: Extreme Demon (harder than RUST); this has been placed at #1 on the HRR mobile list.

Beating a main list extreme demon has been one of my main goals for a while now. I started playing Auditory Breaker about 4 months ago if I recall correctly, and I cant believe I was actually able to beat both Auditory Breaker and Sonic Wave Rebirth, wave being my worst gamemode for the longest time. This level is significantly harder than Auditory Breaker.
About the level, I really enjoyed it — it is basically a better and more balanced version of Sonic Wave in my opinion. Here is a quick gameplay rundown:
- The predrop, especially the ball part, is incredibly difficult. I never really got consistent at it, the ship part in particular felt miles harder than the one in Auditory Breaker.
- The transition at 29% is brutal, although it is significantly more consistent than the one in Auditory Breaker because you have plenty of time to see it coming.
- 31% is one of the hardest timings in the level, killed me quite a lot.
- 35-38% is undoubtedly the hardest part of the level in my opinion — the click pattern is incredibly easy to mess up (especially 35-36%) and the short spam was ridiculously hard for me, even though it doesnt really require high TPS.
- 42-45% never got consistent. While the inputs themselves arent difficult at all, doing all 13 of them is surprisingly difficult.
- 48% is self-explanatory.
- The first few clicks of the second wave are quite hard, I basically had a 50% chance of dying there once I made it past the first wave from 0.
- 71-73% is insane. The click pattern is pretty weird but also very satisfying. Getting consistent at this section took me a very, very long time but it is also my favorite part in the level. I died there 4 times from 0, which is way better than my 30 71-76% deaths on Auditory Breaker.
- The last wave is pretty challenging but it is stupidly consistent after enough practice so I only died there once.
Hardest part: 28-38%
Easiest part: 49-63%

This level has so much charm. Visually speaking, it isnt particularly impressive, but Hinds executed the simple style he went for incredibly well. Definitely very different from his other levels, and I like that.
Unsurprisingly, this is a Hinds level so the gameplay is overall really fun. The first 85% feels very fair and consistent, with the cube-ship-ufo section near the beginning being the hardest but also the most interesting part gameplay-wise. There are a ton of unusual gameplay gimmicks in this level and its quite impressive how well they all work together.
If the level ended at 85%, I think it would definitely be a hard demon, but it does not end at 85%. I genuinely believe the last part is responsible for 95% of this levels difficulty. About 70% of all my attempts on this level were spent learning it, and I still died there three times. It is extremely easy to forget what to do because this part requires so many inputs and leaves very little room for error. There are also a few jumps that feel rather unfair, so that doesnt help. Despite being absurdly hard compared to the rest of the level, I think this part is relatively fun, especially after learning it.

Almost a fluke from 7% but I died at 70% :(
Anyway...Let’s start with the decoration. I think the theming in this level is brilliantly executed and was a perfect choice to match the song. The design itself can be quite inconsistent in quality at times, but overall it’s still very solid. The colors, pulses, effects and movements make the level very entertaining to play and look at. Now let’s talk about the gameplay...This might just be the most learning based demon I’ve played. It requires absolutely no skill, you just need to remember when to hold or tap for almost 3 minutes, it really is that simple. I personally...love this type of gameplay, since I don’t mind spending a lot of time learning something. What’s really satisfying is going from 0, because the level is unsurprisingly extremely consistent since all of the difficulty comes from learning. Overall a great level, which I definitely recommend. I think it’s the most accessible insane demon by a long shot because it essentially requires next to no skill to beat.

My favorite extreme demon. Not only is the song insanely good, but the level works with it in such a perfect way. Watching this level gives me chills.
Time to talk about the gameplay, which is also fantastic and as satisfying to play as it is to watch. The first few parts are decently challenging, especially the first spider and the wave right after it. I found the short memory cube to be fairly unique and it plays decently well, although the red orb is quite difficult when compared to the other inputs. The timings in the slow ball part arent that hard once you get used to them, although the last one killed me rather often.
The next part is surprisingly enjoyable, I personally find it very hard to make slow gameplay this fun. The wave spam at the end actually killed me a few times which is a frustrating way to die. Nothing much to say other than that.
The drop starts off with a very difficult wave, the odd hitboxes as well as the structuring make it slightly harder than it looks. After that, the level remains consistently hard until the next part of the drop. It features many difficult timings and you can pretty much die everywhere.
Once the level speeds up again, it gets slightly easier until 58-59% which is, in my opinion, the hardest part of the level. The cube jump at 58% and the black orb at 59% are both incredibly difficult, I died there a lot from 0 and it killed most of my runs on a copy. Surprisingly didnt die there today.
After that, we get to the dual. Its really satisfying to play once you learn it, but the learning process took me a while to say the least. After playing this level for quite some time, I would always get past everything in the drop... except for the wave at 70%. That wave is so hard, especially the upside down part. I only died there three times from 0, I expected way more but Ill take it.
The last part is definitely easier than the parts before it, but its extremely stressful. Theres also a scarily hard timing at 98% which killed me excessively often on a copy. Fortunately, I didnt die there from 0 and even fluked the level from 73%, which is quite lucky.
In terms of difficulty, I personally think this is harder than SubSonic. I also think this is incredibly underrated on the Mobile List (currently #46), and although I cant exactly say where I think it should place because of my refresh rate, I just dont think its possible for it to be that low.
Overall a fantastic level. You should definitely give it a shot if you want a fun extreme to play. You should also check out this level in full detail, it looks even better: https://youtu.be/byjnOPX6s2k
