When I started out as a music producer, it was normal for a song to always last longer than 3 minutes, and an extended version was almost never shorter than 5 minutes. And then there were the exceptions where there were no limits on length. You didn't produce for the masses, you produced the song.
This song comes from that time. 2007.
No specifications about the length of the song, no specifications about the structure. There are no requirements that you have to capture your audience in the first few seconds. At this time the listener had time and didn't skip every song after 15 seconds.
