Music should be open to everyone. And the stage should reflect the world around us. But there’s still a long way to go. We’re committed to amplifying under-represented voices across the industry, so we invited Radio 1 DJ and broadcaster @jaguarworldwide to host a candid conversation about the experiences of women and non-binary people in music.
Joining her are @tigerhaginoreid, a British-Japanese artist manager and co-founder of ESEA Music, @akataahliah, a techno DJ and producer based in Glasgow, and @lleoworld, an alt-rock-influenced songwriter and producer who dubs their work “bipolar pop”.
Together, they discuss the importance of community across all levels of the industry — and how to create a safer, more nurturing environment for everyone.
