Here's another desperate bootleg pirates made back in the day which was rendered pointless since Sega made an arcade version of Sonic 2 themselves. 😋
In this bootleg the pirates removed the 2 player mode and options screen and edited the rom to change the opening screen to fade out suddenly after Sonic and Tails pop up and they also removed the Sega logo along with changing the lower left part of the HUD to make it so the image of Sonic is replaced with a coin counter instead.
Also when the first demo is playing it's still Emerald Hill but it's the single player version while they removed the actual split screen.
Waste of time playing this since you can play it properly if you have the game on anything these days.
