Bootle Docks? Fire Bootle 9th April 2016, video filmed at approx 1.30pm. Rumour has it the fire was blazing from around 1am up until 3.50pm. The smell in the air has been reported as far as crosby, up past breck road, even in west derby near queens drive. How far away could you smell this? & just how toxic was it?. I heard no emergency service telling folks to WAKE UP.. CLOSE YOUR BEDROOM WINDOWS or YOU MIGHT JUST DIE... Can anyone confirm (for a fact) It's the Recycling plant or has anyone got at least an idea what people where breathing in from approx 1am up to 4pm?

It's said to be just household waste that's on fire, seams a swift way to get rid of stuff you can't recycle while claiming on the insurance and what not? Three fire engines tied up for hours. I wonder if they will find a proven cause.. clearly who ever did this should be on some form of CCTV if its a dockland compound.
