Who can resist a good sale? This one offered TONS of books, comics, graphic novels, trade paperbacks, and so much more. There were music offerings via CD and vinyl; plus movies on DVD and BluRay. They even had tabletop games! And all of this is known as the Friends of the Library sale!
Local libraries have books--of course--but most people overlook the other forms of media they offer. AND, many times they'll partake in events such as conventions and panels with authors and illustrators. They host discussion topics ranging from local history, literary works, to even fun pop culture offerings.
This sale gives back to our local library and puts some great pieces into our collection and gives us some incredible reads to cuddle up with. Please, support YOUR local libraries!!
