Aaron Facer | Bookish Infidelity: a Response Video @aaronfacer | Uploaded January 2024 | Updated October 2024, 9 minutes ago.
In which I respond to @JoeSpivey02 on the subject of bookish fidelity.
You can find his video here: youtube.com/watch?v=jB_Vskp0P04&t=692s
Joe's questions:
1. Recollection: do you remember less if you read multiple books at once, or does it help you read more?
2. Do you have a process? (e.g. set times, certain books on certain days) And are you drawn to certain books more than others?
3. What is your upper limit? (how many books/what kind of books) And how do you stay sane?
4. Were you ever a reader who read one book at once from start to finish?
5. If so, how did this change/why did this change?
6. Do you ever have to flick back to earlier in the book to remember what's going on?
7. Do you feel like you can get through boring books with greater efficiency this way?
8. How does it affect your reading totals? Do you read more this way, or does it inhibit your reading?
9. How would you recommend someone to go through with this kind of approach to reading?
