This book had such a fascinating plot and a really fun, fantastical world. My rating of it was a 3.5 (but 4 stars on Goodreads) and I mainly took off stars for some formatting/editing issues I spotted and I would have liked a bit more character development/backstory/reactions during the first half of the book. With the editing fixes, it would be a solid 4 stars for me, though, and I very much recommend this one to any fantasy readers out there! :)
