I have no idea how to pronounce Atuan. Maybe one of the ways I pronounced it is correct.

I should have mentioned that I liked that Le Guin chose not to make Ged the main character. It gave the reader a different perspective of Ged. The best parts of the book are when Tenar and Ged interact.
