In this video, I take a deep dive into the sister book Medicine Woman for Burning Woman by Lucy H. Pearce. It's the second of the two sister books about the real, human journey of the archetypal Dark feminine and what it means to be a woman enculturated into the Western patriarchal model—this book is about shifting your healing journey to integrate the aspects of healing normally dismissed in the Western Model. I talk about how toxic shame, adverse childhood experiences, and trauma can be somatized and show up as physical ailments as an adult.
