Book review of Happy as Larry.
Some other resources available on the book:
nytimes.com/1958/04/20/archives/an-enemy-within-happy-as-larry-by-thomas-hinde-294-pp-new-york.html
And I realise I chided Thomas Hinde based on what I thought was his class due to being a Baronet, however, his life based on the description on Wikipedia disproves my claim - I am left then to say this is not of the same working class vibe but shall we call it lower middle class? Working class adjacent, perhaps?
