Charlotte will be joined by Charlotte Stone, photographer and U.S. acquiring editor for Snap Collective, and New York-based photographer Charles Chessler, whose work highlights human connection and storytelling.
Together they will discuss:

⚫️ What artists need to know before creating a book
⚫️ Real-world examples and behind-the-scenes stories from published artists
⚫️ Tips for taking the leap—creatively and professionally

More about the panelists ⤵️
⚫️ Charlotte Müller is the cofounder of Snap Collective Publishing, a family-owned company with roots in Germany and Ukraine that helps artists fulfill their dream of publishing a book, without the hassle of financial burdens. Raised in Germany, she immigrated to the U.S. in 2019 and splits her time between San Francisco, New York City, and Düsseldorf. When she’s not running her business, you can find her trail running or at an ecstatic dance event.
Her passion lies in disrupting existing markets and offering a new, easy way for artists to publish their work. Charlotte also has a background in academic publishing and image consulting. She holds a B.A. in Art History and Philosophy from Humboldt University in Berlin and has completed trainings in expressive arts therapy at the Tamalpa Institute in California.
In her free time, she enjoys nature, traveling, visiting the artists she works with, and attending Burning Man.
⚫️ Charlotte Stone is a professional photographer based in the New York City area with a passion for street photography. She studied photography and videography at NYU, was a book editor in San Francisco for many years, and was a video producer.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she has won numerous awards, including Gold Medals from the Paris Street Photography Awards in 2021 and ‘23 and a finalist for Best Street Photograph of the Year (PISPA, 2023). Charlotte mentors novice photographers and is a photography judge for the Garden Club of America. She is an exhibitor, website administrator, and occasional social media coordinator for Women Street Photographers. Her first solo show was held in Darien, CT, in 2022, and her first monograph, Seastone Street, was published by Snap Collective in 2024. She has since joined Snap as their US Acquiring Editor. A dedicated chronicler of humanity’s emotion and humor, Charlotte is ready with eye and lens to capture images that invite the viewer to go deeper into the stories that surround us.
⚫️ Charles Chessler is a New York City photographer whose work includes portraits and headshots, cityscapes and city life, as well as flora and fauna. His upcoming book with Snap Collective, 'Agreeable Strangers,' is the culmination of a long-term project that celebrates the beautiful diversity of people and faces he encounters.
