Welcome to the beginning of a series I’m planning on doing where I discuss a novel and it’s film adaptation, particularly my feelings towards both and how the two mediums compare.
This first episode will be focused on the 1963 science fiction novel The Man Who Fell to Earth, and Nicolas Roeg’s 1976 film adaption of the same name. Both fascinating and both I’m not ashamed to call favorites despite their differences.

*Some Corrections*
- I mentioned that Betty Jo was a young woman, she’s not at least in the book she’s more closer to middle age. The film version portrays the character as younger.
-Bryce is a scientist that is part of the creation of the rocket
