Ready for a new tag video? I love making playlists for specific moods or even my month-to-month favorites, but I’ve never let a book inspire my music picks before. So I created this tag to fuel that creative fire. Grab your favorite book and use these twelve prompts to help you build the playlist of your bookish dreams! You’ll have to let me know if it comes out ok and don’t forget to tag me if you give this a go!

Tag Questions (must go in order)
1. Title Track—pick a song that shares at least one word with your book’s title
2. Great First Line—a song with a catchy chorus that fits your book’s vibe
3. I’ll Be Your MC—a song that speaks to your main character at the beginning of the novel
4. Supporting Character—pick a supporting character and a song that would help hype up your main character
5. Diss Track—a song that represents the antagonist
6. Like a Love Song—pick a song that shows how your main character feels about love OR someone they love [can be family, friends, a romantic partner, their pet]
7. Challenge Accepted—a song that represents a big twist in the book [warn for spoilers]
8. Bad Vibes—a song for your main character at their lowest moment [warn for spoilers]
9.Fight Song—a song that would inspire your main character to fight for what they want
10. Taking Care of Business—if your book had a montage, what song would be playing over it?
11. We Are the Champions—a song to celebrate your main character’s success
12. The End—a song that represents your main character at the end of the book

Bonus Questions (You can use as many or as little of these as you like, and they can fit in anywhere in your playlist)
Cover Buy—a cover song that fits your book’s vibe

Glossary—a song that features a different language from your own dominant language

Authorial Voice—add a song from your favorite artist

Page Count—if 100 pages = 1 minute of song length, pick a song to match your page count [you can round up or down as needed]
