This piece features Bonnie, a beautiful mare from the Crawford Farm near Lawrence, and her new spring foal.

This project was quite challenging. I had issues with the horses' composition and form. I even literally got suck in the weeds.

However, I persevered with the painting until the project was finished. How do you think it turned out?
