Runescape TokHaar-Kal Fight Kiln New Fire Cape Double Jad New boss Har'Aken har aken look vid commentary look update 15 Feb 2012

Hey all, Here is me, Bonbloc, showing my attempt on getting the new firecape (tokhaar-kal), which has +8 strength bonus, and is currently the best cape (str bonus wise) in game. (the completionist cape also has +8 strength, but completing this challenge is a requirement for wearing the completionist cape. The new caves are called the Fight Kiln, which is far more difficult than the Fight Caves (which still exists, and which can get you your firecape like it always has). This new cave has 37 waves. The creatures in here are kinda like the ones from the Firecaves only made stronger + some new ones have been added.
You'll have to face more than one jad during the whole caves in total: 7
Wave 10, Wave 20, Wave 30, Wave 34, Wave 35, Wave 36 (2x jad). After the double jad you'll have to defeat the last boss, Which doesn't require a super difficult method, It's actually easier to master than Jad. The thing that makes it hard is the caves itself, if you manage to have about 10 brews(6) left then you'll probably make the last wave.

In order to be able to start this minigame / caves You'll have to complete/finish the latest quest "The Elder Kiln".

For this minigame you definitly need high level stats and gear, I recommend a minium of Bandos, Armadyl and Ganodermic (preferably nex gear)
Weapons: Chaotic Crossbow + Rapier/Cls + Arma battlestaff

You'll also need a yak (96 summoning), otherwise you will (mostlikely) not make it.
And you need to have flasks (6 dosed vials) Super restores, Prayer renwal, Overloads.

Divine/Ely/Cks arent a must, but are useful to bring (without them its fairly difficult.)

Also Ehanced Excalibur is more useful to bring than a spec weapon.

Har'aken (Combat 800) final boss fight (wave 37):
Wear your ganodermic ( or Pernix,Armadyl,Karils) and keep protect/deflect magic prayer on. Either melee or range the tentacles coming out of the lava, and keep doing this till the head comes out of the lava, switch to your armadyl staff+spell and get casting! (i used the Magic crystals, obtained during the waves) and i continuesly hit 500-700s. A unicorn is useful to use here + excalibur + prayer renwal
Don't stand in the middle and try to safespot, you cant! - Attack the tentacles and they'll go down in the lava even if theyre not dead, which saves u from getting damage since it's not attacking you anymore.

2x Jad (double Jad) - (Tokhaar-jad combat 780, not TzTok-Jad (combat 702)
Wave 36:
In this wave you stand either on the south of the rock in the center or on the north. (both jads will both spawn either NW+NE or SW+SE), once theyre both spawned and theyre at the same side you are standing on (for example south), run to the other side of the rock, this should get them(or at least one) stuck. then you can simply kill the other one like all other jads, and eventually finish off the last one. Pretty easy, only risk is that you get k0ed once jad spawns, but if you have a spirit shield and/or nex gear then you probably won't get k0ed instantly if you brewed up.

I used 1 full yak, and the second one had 13min left when i got to the boss, i dismissed it to summon my unicorn which was alive for only like 2min.. so aproximatly 2 hr cave.

I had: 4 brews (6) left + 3 doses Overload + 5 doses renwal, and 10 doses super restore. (used about 200 arma spells and 500 diamond bolts(e).
