So I've been slowly teaching myself Maya again in my free time and this is the first animation I've actually completed in it. Good lord it was a learning process, I was working in a scene that was 1.5 million times bigger than the maya grid, all these little mistakes I made at the start made this a really difficult thing to complete.
Hopefully my future projects in Maya will be easier on me!

Its a can of worms, therefore it explodes into worms and dirt upon impact instead of water and mist. It was pretty fun to make stuff for.")

Several sets of effects were created to reflect the proposed function of the weapon in game, where it would leave a toxic cloud that would poison players who ran into it.")
