Under normal circumstances the bomb tends to just end up on whatever robot wants to pick it up as long as they get close enough to it.
There are some spots the bomb becomes unreachable, basically bricking the entire bomb deployment threat system.

I'm not quite sure how often I've seen the robots being on top of the bomb and them not being able to "reach it."
