Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel and the start of a series of videos that I am going to call Bolt Action Basics. Over the last few months on different groups and through comments on my own videos, I can see that a lot of people have recently started playing Bolt Action or have been thinking about beginning to play.
As people have been asking questions, this got me thinking about making a short series of videos that would introduce specific aspects of Bolt Action and outline some of the basic core mechanics that make up the game. My aim is to keep them very basic and they certainly won’t be about building that all conquering and winning army or discussing in-depth tactics, I’m really not that kind of Bolt Action player!
In the first video, I am going to be looking at how you actually go about building your Bolt Action army. In the video, I sit down to build a 1000 point army using the Armies of Germany book. This will hopefully show you how the theatre selectors work, mandatory troop choices and the different types of units and teams that you can use to build your army.
While this is intended to be a very basic over view, I hope that it will show new or aspiring players just how an army is built in Bolt Action.
