Police say an unknown suspect drove by a Boise residence in a sedan-type vehicle early Sunday morning and fired multiple rounds at a home, which was being used as a short-term vacation rental during a party.

A female gunshot victim was found on the front porch, and despite life-saving measures, she died from her injuries at the scene.

Idaho News 6 was at the scene Sunday afternoon and observed caution tape surrounding the home.
