I think I prefer the word Kaeidzuka to it's translation, but it doesn't make a difference.
ZUN said himself that the Theme of Eastern Story motif in the titles is the silliest part of Touhou! Or, maybe it's not silly enough. Either way, he said this is Gensokyo, which I suppose is code for 'nothing makes sense here, so silliness doesn't count'.
