The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] announced plans to consolidate its Commercial Crew program office, manufacturing and operations at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC). Boeing, in partnership with Space Florida, has an arrangement to use the Orbiter Processing Facility-3 (OPF-3) to manufacture, assemble, and test the company's Crew Space Transportation (CST)-100 spacecraft.

Unprecedented video shows the International Space Station together with the space shuttle, the vehicle that helped build the complex during the last decade.
On May 23, 2011 the Soyuz TMA-20 was carrying Russian cosmonaut Dmitry Kondratyev, NASA astronaut Cady Coleman and European Space Agency astronaut Paolo Nespoli back to Earth. Once their vehicle was about 600 feet from the station, Mission Control Moscow, outside the Russian capital, commanded the orbiting laboratory to rotate 130 degrees. This move allowed Nespoli to capture high definition video of shuttle Endeavour docked to the station.
